FWD Recover First

We may not know what tomorrow brings, but we know that we don’t want to leave life to chance, especially when it comes to important things like insurance.

FWD Recover First is a critical illness (CI) insurance plan that takes the complexity out of critical illness coverage by removing finite lists of illnesses commonly found in CI products that are difficult to understand and/or do not keep up with advancements in medical science.

Being prepared for the future means having the confidence that your insurance plan is relevant for your needs, today and in the future. This is why we’ve designed FWD Recover First to protect you against any illnesses, disabilities, impairment and injuries that you may suffer from – including those that you may not even know of yet.

After all, an insurance plan should future-proof all your protection needs; instead of merely covering you against conditions with a finite list.

You asked, we answered

How does the Reset Benefit work?

The Reset Benefit works by keeping your coverage intact even after a claim under the Future Protect Benefit has been successfully paid out. In other words, instead of a termination after a claim is made, your FWD Recover First policy will go into a 12-month reset period, where you will still be covered under the Death Benefit. Once this reset period passes, the full sum insured for late stage critical illnesses will be reinstated.
